In 1982, COSYLVA was born in Saint Amand Montrond (Cher - France).
In 1984, COSYLVA S.A. set up in Bourganeuf (Creuse – France).
The main activity is the industrial manufacturing of glulam timber.
After the Building crisis in the early 1990’s, COSYLVA settled to focus on industrial production in 1995, leaving the fitting on building - yards. As a consequence, a second breath pushed the company, enabling to double the manufactured volume in 3 years, and afterwards to reach quickly the bar of 10 000 m of finished glulam timber.
With the passing years, COSYLVA diversified its activity developing the cladding glulam and the glued solid wood, and succeeded in becoming an key actor of the glued timber.

| In order to adapt to building requirements which is every more technical and demanding, Cosylva company has considerably increased its production potential from 1999, on three main lines : |

• Modernization of the equipment : - 2 numerical controlled manufacturing machines 5 axes, 46m x 6m x 0,4m cutting range for the first, for " simple " pieces, 15m x 0,6m x 0,4m maxi for the second one.
- 1 new finger jointing line.
- 2 gluing machines melamine / resorcine, etc.
• Extension of the plant : building of 2500 m additional workshops, mainly for the cutting area ; total covered premises of 14 200 m
• Agreements and certifications : in accordance to our perpetual quality will : ACERBOIS GLULAM, DIN, QUALIBAT, ISO, CE, FSC, PEFC… are the result of a 20 years old experience and the guarantee of an insured quality for our partners
